How do I submit a refund request for a cancelled or postponed event if I did not purchase a refundable ticket option?
Refund requests can only be submitted after:
- The event has been officially announced as cancelled or postponed
- The Event Organizer has approved the refund process
- You have received an official refund notification email and instructions from the Event Organizer and/or Ticketmelon
If you have not received an official refund notification and instructions to your email, your order is not yet eligible for a refund request.
Important Notes
- Refund requests are subject to approval based on the Event Organizer’s refund policy.
- Only approved refund requests will be refunded to the original payment method used during purchase.
- Refund processing timelines may vary depending on your payment provider and payment channel.
- Refund payments to ticket buyers can only be processed after the Event Organizer has transferred the refund funds back to Ticketmelon. Learn more about refund timelines here.
Steps to Submit Your Refund Request
1. Once you have received the official refund instructions, please visit Ticketmelon and sign in to your Ticketmelon account.
2. Go to the “My Tickets” page to view your purchase history.

2. Select the event ticket you would like to request a refund for, then click “Refund” at the top right corner of the event poster.

3. Review Ticketmelon’s refund policies carefully. After reading, check the acknowledgment box and click “Continue.”

4. Complete all required information and click “Submit.”
