Can I upgrade my tickets?

Ticket upgrade requests are authorized by the event organizer. If you want to upgrade your tickets, you have two options:

  1. Contact our support team to inquire whether the event allows ticket upgrades
  2. Contact the event organizers directly

To upgrade your tickets, please follow the instructions below. (*You will need an approval from the Event Organizer in prior to this process)

  • After confirming that you are allowed to upgrade your tickets, first, buy the new tickets you’re upgrading into. The price of the new tickets should be higher than your previous tickets.
  • Send the payment evidence of your old ticket along with your new ticket to support@ticketmelon.com and explain which one you want to get refunded.

Approved refund requests will be refunded to the channel from which the purchase was made.

How long does it take for a refund?

For Credit Card Buyers

The refund amount will be transferred into your credit card within 30 - 45 days, depending on your card issuer. It will show in your credit card statement the following month.

For Cash Buyers

The refund amount will be transferred into your account within 5 working days.

Note: We are unable to upgrade tickets for events that will take place in less than 3 days from the request date.
