Normally, you cannot change the name on your ticket unless stated otherwise.
Whether the name on your ticket must match your ID depends on the event organizer’s policy.

For most events on Ticketmelon, matching your ticket name to your ID is not required, but we still recommend entering your real name during purchase.
If an event requires real-name tickets, that policy will be clearly stated on the event page, and you may submit a name change request following the organizer’s instructions.

If I want to give my ticket to a friend, do I need to change the name?

This also depends on the organizer’s policy.
If the event does not require name matching, your friend can simply use your ticket’s QR code to scan and enter the event.
If name matching is required, please contact the organizer to request a change before the event day.
