Can I change the name on my ticket?

No, unless stated otherwise. Whether or not you are required to put your real name on the ticket depends on the policy of the event and its organizer. While most events on Ticketmelon do not require the name on your ticket to match your ID, we recommend that you enter your real name. If the Event requires you to put your real name, the policy will show up on the event page, and you can request to change it.

If I want to give my ticket to a friend, do I need to change the name on my ticket?

It depends on the policy of each event. If the Organizer does not state that the name on your ticket must match the attendee, you may simply bring the QR code to scan and enter the event.
