Recognizing the significance of efficient crowd management, Ticketmelon devised a custom registration page tailored for ManiPopCon. Despite the event's admission being free, this platform enabled organizers to streamline foot traffic and enhance crowd control measures while building a seamless experience for attendees. Each registered attendee received a unique QR code, serving as a digital pass for interactive game registrations during the event. This innovative approach not only facilitated efficient entry but also added an element of gamification to the convention experience.

Central to the anticipation surrounding ManiPopCon was its dedicated event microsite, hosted at ManiPopCon2023.signupspace.com. This custom microsite served as a focal point for attendees, offering essential features such as an event countdown, registration links, and ticket purchasing options. Moreover, the microsite spotlighted special guests like Mackenyu, providing insights into their scheduled appearances and activities. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) addressed common queries, ensuring attendees were well-informed prior to the event. Additionally, the inclusion of the SCANvenger Hunt added an interactive dimension, enticing participants to explore the convention grounds in search of hidden QR codes.
SCANvenger Hunt:
A highlight of ManiPopCon's interactive offerings was the SCANvenger Hunt, a hybrid gaming experience orchestrated by Ticketmelon. Participants embarked on a quest to locate 30 QR codes strategically scattered throughout the venue, each representing a unique challenge or clue. Leveraging the event microsite, attendees accessed the Scavenger Hunt tab to kickstart their adventure. As they traversed the convention space, excitement mounted with each discovery, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants. Upon completing the hunt, eager adventurers redeemed their prizes at the Ticketmelon booth, enhancing the memorable experience.

Our access control team set up scanners to provide entry via scanned e-tickets in exchange for wristbands, which were distributed seamlessly. Clear instructions were provided on the importance of keeping the wristbands on throughout the event.
QR Code Scanner Deployment:
On the day of the event, we scattered 30 QR Codes around the venue strategically to incentivize attendees to visit all participating booths at ManiPopCon. This highlighted part was part of the SCANvenger hunt where the scanners efficiently captured and recorded the unique scans of the attendees to track their participation with each activation or challenge. The data captured were automatically updating the real-time dashboard.
